What type of Chocolate do you use in the Fountain?

We use the highest quality premium Chocolate. This is done for two reasons: First, Taste is the most important and we will not compromise quality. Secondly, the quality, consistency and flow of the chocolate will be much more appealing.

What is the Maximum Number of Guests that the Chocolate Fountain will Serve?

The Chocolate Fountain will serve an unlimited number of guests as long as additional chocolate is added. Our package includes 15 lbs. of chocolate, which is usually adequate for appetizers for up to 150 guests. Of course the amount of chocolate consumed will depend on what else is served. If the chocolate Fountain is the only dessert, you will use more chocolate than if it is part of a buffet. Additional chocolate can be purchased.

What is included in the rental?

Your chocolate fountain rental includes: Premium chocolate, unlimited wooden skewers, a highly trained professional Chocolate Concierge (who monitors the fountain, aids your guests in dipping etiquette, answers any questions, keeps the area clean, promotes good fun, and keeps dipping items and chocolate stocked), an elegant display, 3 hours of service, and free delivery, setup, breakdown, and clean up.

What is NOT included in the rental?

We ask that you/caterer/or vendor provide us with the table, skirting (to match your color scheme), plates, and napkins. Dipping Items are not provided in the rental, but may be purchased separately, please see dipping items page.

Do I Have To Set Up, Tear Down & Clean Up The Chocolate Fountain?

Of course not, we do all the work for you! That is what we are trained to do. We will arrive at your special event 30-60 minutes prior to the designated starting time. The fountain will then be carefully set up and the chocolate will be melted and flowing elegantly so your guests will smell the sweet aroma of chocolate when they begin to arrive. We then will clean up and dismantle the Chocolate Fountain when our time has ended. You will only have to enjoy your party!

How Long Can I Have The Chocolate Fountain At My Event?

Our package includes use of the chocolate fountain for 3 hours. This does not include set up and tear down, which are done on our time. This is usually plenty of time for most occasions where it is being used for the cocktail hour or dessert portion of the event. If you need the fountain for more than 3 hours, we will gladly accommodate your request for an additional cost of $50 per hour.

Who provides the dipping items?

There are two options. We can, or your caterer hotel/facility can. Generally, you are already working with a caterer, hotel or banquet facility to provide the majority of the food for your event. We do not wish to interfere with this relationship, and view our service as a complement to their services. Please discuss with your facility and/or caterer that you desire to contract for a chocolate fountain through Chocolate Dreams, and work with them so they can ensure that appropriate dipping items are incorporated into your menu. If your caterer has any questions or concerns regarding our service, we'd be more than happy to speak with them on your behalf. If you are interested in Chocolate Dreams providing the dipping goodies, we'd be more than happy to provide this service for you at an additional cost.

Do You Provide The Decorations For Around The Chocolate Fountain?

The Chocolate Fountain itself is the ultimate decoration for any table. The cascading chocolate along with the colorful array of fruit and other appetizers is plenty of decorations to make the table appealing. We will add to its elegance by using multi-leveled displays, professional platters, and additional tablecloths, if desired. Of course, you are more than welcome to provide any additional decorations if you so desire.

Can the chocolate fountain be used outdoors?

The chocolate fountain is best operated in enclosed areas. Because of the chocolate's sweet aroma, little flying creatures are very likely to be attracted to the fountain. Beyond that, maintaining the temperature of chocolate is critical for continued smooth operation. This would be difficult to accomplish in an outside setting.

What Area Do You Service?

Our packages service the Las Vegas and Henderson area, although we travel all throughout Southern Nevada. Anything further than 30 miles of Las Vegas will be an additional travel charge.

What are the table and electrical requirements?

Since The Chocolate Fountain weighs approximately 100 pounds when full, a level, sturdy table is a must. If it is not level, the chocolate will not flow properly. Your banquet facility should provide two table linens that will coordinate with your event color scheme. The Chocolate Fountain requires a 120 volt grounded electrical outlet within 10 feet of the set-up location.

Do You Require Reservations & A Deposit?

Yes, we require a reservation, a signed contract, and a $200.00 non refundable deposit at the time of booking. Reservations are limited and are on a first come first serve basis. The balance of your payment is due at least 2 weeks prior to the scheduled date of your event.

How far ahead should I book the Chocolate Fountain?

Although the Chocolate Fountain is occasionally available on short notice, it is recommended to book as early as possible, as there is limited availability of the fountain.

What items are used to dip in the Fountain?

The Chocolate Fountain is perfect for a myriad of dipping sensations including strawberries, pineapples, marshmallows, grapes, melons, cherries, bananas, Rice Krispy treats, caramels, pretzels, animal crackers, graham crackers, apple slices, angel food cake, shortbread cookies, cream puffs, vienna fingers, biscotti, coconut macaroons, dried fruit, and much more!. Use your imagination! For the children, try gummi worms or jujubes!
